i am so glad mars is in taurus
i am so unbothered,
i am chic,
while shoveling the compost.

shoveling the dead things,
to put into the vegetables
(which will become the dead things)
that butterflies like to land on."
(i will become this.)

at the end of the day,
we take a running start at the compost pile,
adding to the big green top,
(if i took a breath, would it breathe back?)
and sliding back down.

at every stage,
Something is alive.
