Artist Bio

Vic Spindler-Fox
(they/them)

Vic is an nth-generation East Tennessee native and seventh-generation textile artist. They work professionally in environmental field work, agriculture, and community data, and personally on getting in the middle of a big mess and cutting their way out. Vic’s artistic work focuses on reclaimed and mended textiles designed for daily use, based around ideas of mourning and memory, scrap and salvage, queerness and ghosts.
